Welcome Letter

Dear Pomona Parents/Guardians:
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year at Pomona Middle School. I am your Family Resource Coordinator, Mrs. Ford-Stevens. Although this year may look different, I am committed to working with our parents and students. Throughout the school year, I will be posting information in regards to community events, health care information, workshops, newsletters, PTA meetings and more. Please take advantage of the information and resources shared to aid in the growth of your family unit.
What is a Family Resource Center?
We are YOUR FRIENDS IN SCHOOL. We are committed to making your experience in the East Ramapo School District an excellent resource to further your commitment to learning and growing.
What is our goal and commitment to you?
- Create a safe environment for parents and children to ask for the help needed.
- Create programs that build up the community and expand the knowledge base.
- Provide information on all social services; for example, job placement, child care, health insurance, ENL classes and more...
